Wristband Devices That Track Your Running Mileage Pace & Time

A wristband device keeps track of your running time and mileage.

Whether you are training for a triathlon or trying to improve on your personal best, a device that tracks your mileage and time is a useful tool. Some of the new wristband devices are even equipped with a GPS and online mapping system. Using a wristband device while running or biking can provide you with useful information to help you improve your workouts.

Garmin Forerunner

The Garmin Forerunner 305 GPS Watch provides runners with information such as distance, heart rate and speed on a display screen. You can compare your times with the information stored in the device from previous workout sessions. It is equipped with a GPS receiver that works even around tall buildings. The Garmin Foot Pod is available as an accessory to keep track of workout information such as pace and mileage you do inside on a treadmill. The Garmin Forerunner 305 GPS watch allows you to upload your data to the Internet.

Timex Ironman

The Timex Ironman T5J985 Unisex Trail Runner features a GPS and heart rate monitor, as well as a 100-hour chronograph, 100-lap memory and five different alarms. Users who participate in water sports need a training device that is water resistant; this one is resistant to 165 feet. It has a light for use in the dark. This device will calculate average pace, best pace, heart rate and rate of recovery, and has a GPS.

Polar RS800G3
