Running on the treadmill while watching TV can make workouts more enjoyable.
The advent of small, convenient MP3 players and other similar devices have led to bulky headphones being replaced by smaller, more streamlined earbuds. When used properly, earbuds remain comfortably in your ears and produce high-quality sound for you to enjoy during workouts. To simplify the concept even further, many people prefer to use wireless earbuds that allow them to enjoy a freer workout experience and not feel tethered to their listening device while running on the treadmill.
Sennheiser MX W1 Wireless Stereo Earbuds
These wireless earbuds are perfect if you're at a gym that allows you to tune your radio to a preset television frequency. Simply plug the wireless transmitter into your MP3 player or iPod and tune in to the gym's television frequency. The wireless Kleer technology makes for a high-quality personal sound system. A 3.5mm jack connection allows you to plug the transmitter into just about any device you wish--including your home television or stereo. This completely wireless system comes with a rechargeable docking station and carrying case.
DigiFi Opera Wireless Earbuds
Like the Sennheiser MX W1, the DigiFi Opera wireless earbuds use Kleer technology for optimal sound. The earbuds are attached to a wire that fits behind the head, which some people may find provides more security when running on the treadmill. Simply plug the headphone jack into the television and you will be able to enjoy wireless audio. The transmitter allows up to four sets of Kleer headphones at a time. The DigiFi Opera wireless earbuds come in both black and white.
Sennheiser MM 200 Bluetooth Headset
The Sennheiser MM 200 earbud set contains a Bluetooth receiver that the user wears around his neck, and wireless earbuds with different rubber fittings to adjust to different ear shapes. The receiver only attaches to an iPod, so if you have a different type of player, this would not be the best choice. Also you would need to have an iPod that is radio-enabled as you would only be able to use this at gyms that allow you to tune in your radio to listen to the television. Unlike the Opera wireless earbuds and the Sennheiser MX W1 wireless earbuds, the Sennheiser MM 200 Bluetooth headset does not have a standard jack connection that will be compatible with televisions, stereos or other audio players. What the Sennheiser MM 200 Bluetooth headset lacks in options, it makes up for in price, being the least expensive of the three options.
