Offense-Defense Sports


Offense-Defense Sports is a nationwide brand that markets itself as America's No. 1 youth football camp. Offense-Defense had 40 nationwide camp locations as of 2010, including an event June 6 to June 9 at Colorado Christian University in Denver. The camp has a full-contact curriculum identical nationwide that allows players to spend more than seven hours per day on the field. The drills are detailed, comprehensive and designed to have players better prepared to take the field for their teams. Offense-Defense camps offer an impressive staff consisting of present NFL coaches, ex-NFL coaches, college coaches and NFL professional players. In 2010, the Offense-Defense camps offer a residential option, including 24-hour supervision for $760, or a day camper option for $399. Offense-Defense camps alumni include Hall of Fame wide receiver Jerry Rice. NFL players who have appeared as camp staff include Denver Broncos left tackle Ryan Clady.


Mile High Football Camp


Mile High Football Camp is also based at Colorado Christian University in 2010. The camp curriculum stresses all phases of the game of youth football and works on improving individual techniques for specific offensive and defensive positions. The 2009 event ran from June 21 to June 24. Future dates are to be confirmed. Residential camper spots are available for $475 and day campers for $350. Professional players who have visited the Mile High Football Camp include former Denver Broncos wide receiver Ed McCaffrey, and both starting quarterbacks in the 2010 Super Bowl, Drew Brees and Peyton Manning. Coaches working at the camp include NFL, college and high school coaches, among them Chuck Pagano of the Baltimore Ravens.


Colorado Youth Football Camps


Colorado Youth Football camps are the official camp of the Colorado Youth Football organization. The Colorado Youth Football philosophy is to provide solid fundamental football skills in a relaxed atmosphere, teaching techniques that are vital to a youth football player reaching his full potential. Some of the possible camp sites in the Denver suburbs include Shea Stadium in Highlands Ranch and Lutheran High School in Parker, with three days of instruction at four hours per day. Colorado Youth Football camps are not residential. Local football coaches make up the core of the staff, and are joined by recruited high school and football coaches to offer instruction.
